New Chester River Internal Medicine

Office Opens April 23

Ricardo Conti, M.D., Ph.D., previously of Chester River Hospital's Hospitalist Team, is now providing adult primary care at the new Chester River Internal Medicine office, located in the Medical Services Building at Chester River Hospital. He is now accepting new patients.

Dr. Conti came to Chester River in 2010, after three years at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. Originally from Brazil, Dr. Conti attended medical school at Federal Fluminense University in Brazil and completed the Ph.D. program at the Heart Institute of the University of Sao Paulo School of Medicine in San Paulo, Brazil. He completed five years of residency and fellowship in internal medicine and cardiology, plus another ten years of cardiology practice in Brazil. Dr. Conti is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

"I enjoy providing my patients with the best care to keep them healthy and to improve their quality of life," remarked Dr. Conti. "I am very excited to be involved in an office practice again, as I was in Brazil." He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
