Primary Duties:

� Using the Seven Step Cleaning Procedure, perform cleaning duties in assigned areas such as patient rooms, examination and treatment rooms, rest rooms, lounges, corridors and offices. � Service Discharge Units by sanitizing and remaking beds, using the Seven Step Cleaning Procedure. � Clean patient isolation rooms, including properly cleaning blood and body fluids using Standard Precautions. � Distribute clean linens to all applicable units, following Infection Control Standards. � Clean and sanitize furniture, woodwork, walls, window, blinds, lights, vents, wall hangings, waste cans and sign age. � Stock dispensers as necessary; maintain equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition. � Sweep, dust, dust mop and wet mop floors, spot clean and vacuum carpeting.

Minimum Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent required. On the job training provided. Previous experience preferred. Extensive standing, walking, climbing, stooping, pushing and lifting heavy equipment.
