Patient Visitation Guidelines
Effective March 1, 2010
- Only two (2) visitors are allowed to visit a patient at any one time.
- No children under the age of twelve (12) will be permitted to visit any patient of the hospital. Exceptions may be made for siblings of newborns. The child(ren) must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 and must not have any obvious symptoms of illness.
- Visitors should refrain from visiting in the hospital if they have any symptoms of illness, including but not limited to:
- Fever (greater than 100° F)
- Cough
- Sore Throat
- Runny nose or sneezing
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
- Eye Infection
- Open skin rash or wound
- Visiting hours will be limited on inpatient units to the following:
- Intensive Care and Obstetrics: 12 – 1 pm, 3 – 4 pm, 7 – 8 pm
- All other inpatient units: 12 – 8 pm
