Year-long Community Service Project by
Sudlersville Daisy Girl Scouts

The Sudlersville Daisy Girl Scout Troop #404 participated in a year-long service project to learn the importance of being a good community citizen and of giving back to the community. The group of 5- to 7-year old girls built, decorated and furnished a beautiful doll house complete with a "family," and donated it to Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital's Pediatrics Department.

Pictured the presentation are: Donna Wode, R.N., administrative supervisor; Sophie Whalen, Alison Crossley, Sara Pierce, Megan Smith, and Carolyn Spray, R.N., pediatrics department. Not pictured is Chelsea Stansbury. Completion of the project earns the Daisy Scout troop their final petal which makes them eligible to participate in a "bridging ceremony" that will advance them to the next scouting level, Brownie Girl Scouts.
