Elegant Dinner Dance to Benefit
Hospital Expansion Project
Elizabeth H. Morris

Dance under a thousand twinkling lights at the "Spring Gala 2002", a black tie dinner dance sponsored by the Medical Staff of Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital. The Saturday evening fund raiser will be held March 9 at the Lifetime Fitness Center at Washington College in Chestertown. The local physicians have planned an evening that will top last year's fabulous event.

The elegant affair will again feature "Elite," an eleven-piece orchestra playing music from all popular eras: the big bands of the '40's, the "doo-wop" sounds of the '50's, the top rock and Motown music of the '60's, the club dance classics of the '70's and popular music right up to today.

A cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 p.m. with an open bar and hors d'oeuvres.
Distinctive Catering by Ron, an Annapolis firm, will serve an unforgettable dinner starring medallions of filet mignons and Norwegian salmon and ending with assorted French pastries for dessert. Guests are invited to dance until midnight.

Tickets are available at $200 per person. For information call Jill Hessey, Director of Medical Staff Services, at (410) 778-3300, ext. 4060. Proceeds will benefit the expansion project at Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital.
