Macielag Elected President
of Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital
Foundation Board

Michael
Macielag has been elected President of the Kent & Queen
Anne's Hospital Foundation Board. He was first elected to
the Board in 1997 and has been actively involved, serving
as a member of the Executive, Friends and Major Gift committees.
As Foundation president, Macielag will also serve as a voting
member of the Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital Board of
Directors. He is the founder, president and CEO of Chesapeake
Bank and Trust Company located in Chestertown and has held
leadership positions with the Independent Community Bankers
of American,
the Maryland Bankers Association, Maryland |

Banking School and the Eastern Shore chapter of the Bank Administration
Institute. His volunteer efforts have been extensive, serving as president
of the Washington College Alumni Association and a member of the college's
Board of Visitors and Governors. He has worked with the United Way of
Kent County, the Schooner Sultana project, Kent County Chamber of Commerce,
the Chester River Yacht & Country Club and the Rock Hall Yacht Club.
