Hospital-Patient Financial Services Consolidated
at 103 Brown Street Building

Chestertown, MD — September 10, 2003 — The business office of Chester River Hospital Center has moved to new offices at 103 Brown Street. Both patient financial services and general accounting operations occupied the remodeled building in early September.

“The opening of the Financial Services Building will enable us to better meet the needs of our patients and assist them in finalizing health insurance, Medicare and other payment options,” explained Lucille Price, manager of patient financial services for Chester River Hospital Center.
The 12-member patient financial services staff occupies the second floor of the two-story building. The first floor is occupied by the 3-member general accounting staff; Ken Hudson, controller; and long-time hospital cashier Betty Taylor.

Patients may make payments on outstanding balances either at the 103 Brown Street office or at the Information Desk at the front entrance to the hospital,” Price noted, adding that parking is available adjacent to the Financial Services Building.
