Register Receipts Produce Generous Donation

Thank you, community. Kent & Queen Anne’s Hospital Foundation received a donation of $1,522.05 from the SuperFresh grocery store chain by collecting register receipts from friends, supporters and employees. The funds will be used to purchase a crash cart for use on the pediatric unit; the cart will be equipped with child-size equipment and medications in child-size doses to be used in the event of a cardiac arrest. The hospital was the top fundraiser for the Chestertown store and one of the top in the chain’s Baltimore district.

The grocery chain gave charitable organizations one percent of the value of the receipts each collected since early September.
