Robin Klinefelter Named to MHA

Robin Klinefelter, vice president, strategy development at Chester River Health System, has been appointed to the Maryland Hospital Association’s Council on Legislative and Regulatory Policy.

The council is responsible for shaping and advancing the association’s vision for a reformed health care system through the legislative and regulatory processes at both the state and federal levels.

The council evaluates, prioritizes, and recommends necessary changes to the regulatory structure in which health care is delivered in Maryland to enhance the ability of MHA members to better serve their communities’ needs.

The council also develops and communicates to members advocacy strategies for implementing MHA-supported initiatives and positions.

"There are many regulatory and legislative issues facing health care institutions today, and I’m looking forward to participating in the process of shaping health care policy in Maryland, " said Klinefelter.

The Maryland Hospital Association’s membership is comprised of all of Maryland’s community and teaching acute care, specialty, and veterans hospitals. Chester River Health System is comprised of Kent & Queen Anne’s Hospital, Magnolia Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and Chester River Home Care & Hospice.
